Management Team

Njideka Eke (MSC, MBA) is the first female Executive of the Capital Bancorp Group. She sits as the CEO of Bancorp Finance Limited; the Finance arm of the Group.
Eke is saddled with the responsibility to add value and make a difference at the same time. This she has done by churning out big numbers that set her apart from her peers.
She began her career with Capital Bancorp Plc. fresh out of University as a Management Trainee in year 2000 and then through hard work and tenacity, she rose up the cadre to Assistant Manager, Credit Services and remained in that position till 2014 when she was deployed to Bancorp Finance Limited and once again elevated to Ag General Manager; a position she excelled in until Feb 2016.
In recognition of her valiant contribution to the Group as a whole but more so in recognition of her invaluable contribution to the success of Bancorp Finance Limited, the Board of Directors handed her the reign of the company in Feb. 2016 and elevated her to General Manager/CEO.
Njideka Eke who is a Member of the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN), is a woman of high integrity, accessible, transparent, courageous, passionate, authentic, ambitious, conscientious, self-insightful and cultivates good work relationships. She also has a solid personal growth orientation, a drive for results and is extremely business savvy. Njideka describes her career as colorful (no set formula), adventurous (full of surprises) and challenging (constant learning).
Njideka had her BSc Geography and Planning at the University of Lagos in 1997. In the same institution, she bagged MSc Geography in 1999.
